elliepants began after I had my first daughter - the desire to create and play with fabric! Of course being a first time mother there was little time for a lot of this but in every spare minute I had I was matching fabrics and cutting out.
Things became more serious when I was approached by a local shop owner to make baby bloomers - straight away I had comments from friends with babies who couldn't find bloomers in retail outlets - and so I then began the quest to make as many elliepants bloomers as I could!
My ideas started to grow as my kids grew - bit by bit I created more products that we not only fun to make but were the things my friends and I couldn't find for our own kids.
When my second daughter arrived so did the inspiration behind the snuggle rugs. (...of course with the snuggle rugs not only could I play with fun fabrics but I can now experiment with ribbons as well!) My youngest truly loves her elliepants snuggle rug - and has loved it some much that it's now nearly threadbare!
The newest item in the elliepants range is the reversible headbands (no more headband headaches!!). We keep hearing the same comments - my girls keep them on all day and they not only keep their hair out of their faces but look fantastic - and they have been extremely popular with the "grown ups" too!
I truly love what I do and look forward to the next thing around the corner - that's what makes creating at elliepants so much fun! I hope you enjoy browsing through my website and my range!
